Greens

I just realized something about Brady. He likes green things. Artichoke is a huge favorite. Last night we were all fighting over the asparagus and the sauteed broccoli (you know those huge pieces of broccoli in the bag that they sell at Costco - yum!).

Something I've known about Brady for a long time. He does not like red, orange or yellow things. This is the closest I have seen him to a banana in a long time.

Today

It's that time.....a little late perhaps? But we're getting going on our garden. It's great to have kids who actually make a difference when they help. We wouldn't survive without them!

MMMM This smelled great! Thanks to Grandpa and his horses!

Yes, this is actually Brady driving the truck. You know, they start 'em young in Idaho!

Earlier today:

• Paige spent 5 hrs. at a 4H small animal clinic, came home wanting more animals!
• Brady worked for some friends remodeling a house - earned $5 bucks an hour. So thrilled!
• Justin mowed the lawn, shoveled manure, turned down offer to cliff jump at Hidden Lakes, he's a SMART boy.
• Darren and I rode 60 miles in classic Idaho hurricane winds! Barely made it to 5 Guys before passing out from hunger.
• After manure spreading - Darren mtn. biked Dry Gulch Loop, I ran 5 miles.

Everyone is tired.

Spring Break

Finally, a picture from a month ago. We headed to Utah for Spring Break and had our annual ski with Grandpa day. This year we went to Brighton. Fun stuff! 50 degree weather.

Guests

Last month we got to babysit two sugar gliders. They are the coolest creatures! The kids loved to play with them. They are nocturnal, so every night around 10:30 we would start to hear them runnng on their wheel.
