Weekend Kayaking Trip

Friday morning the guys set out to hit the kayak parks along the Payette River. They kayaked to their hearts content and came home exhausted.

There is a live camera at Kelly's whitewater park in Cascade, so I was able to see them a little bit yesteday online!

They finished up the trip running the Main Payette. Justin and David ran the last rapid on the North Fork of the Payette.

Just Keep Swimming

In case you didn't know, I gave birth to fish. One of them had a swim meet today.

Four hours of swim meet watching. Too much? Let's just say that books were finished during this today. There may have also been a little whining....

Independence

The boys have found a little independence this summer. They take off with friends into the wild and camp. Sometimes they backpack, sometimes they kayak to their destination. This latest one had me a little nervous because there were rapids! They loved every minute of it!

I couldn't resist taking Brady's picture a he was replaying the lateral wave and surf stories. They are excellent boaters, but I doubt I will ever stop worrying about them when they are doing this kind of stuff!
